Priests of the Sacred Heart (S.C.J.)

The Priests of the Sacred Heart (SCJs) is an international religious community of brothers and priests serving the world. In the United States SCJ priests can be found in South Dakota, Wisconsin, Mississippi, Illinois, Florida and Texas.

SCJs are pastors in urban and rural parishes, professors in universities, schools of theology and high schools. They are community organizers, helping people get what many take for granted: clean water, functioning sewer systems and a decent education for children. They can be found in court, fighting for justice for the poor. Theyare in prisons and hospitals, bringing the word of God to those who face some of life’s most difficult struggles.
