![]() What I DoMy Biography voice - 210.694.4582 | This is much more than designing web sites, although that's a large part of what I do. Even more important than the design and technical computer stuff is the vision of what the Internet can (and cannot) do. Not just today, but tomorrow and in the next generation. I teach as well. I've been teaching basic Internet skills for four years, and web design for about two. Students who like my teaching style claim that I don't get too technical, never make them feel stupid and make it fun. I teach for Alamo PC, our local computer user group, and for other companies and local organizations. I write. My monthly column, Net Nerds, has appeared in PC Alamode Magazine for almost four years, and I also write software reviews for them. I have also written for many newspapers and magazines. And I still do some desktop design - fliers, ads and posters. Why is the company called Square 1? I like to start at the beginning, with fundementals - at Square One. I've found that getting on the Internet, for most people, ends up starting a fresh way of looking at the world, of starting over at Square One. And I think that's a good thing. Don't you? |
